A. Michael Adler is a Senior Judge in the State of Oregon. He was a Circuit Court Judge in Deschutes County for 22 years from 1997 through 2019.
Judge Adler was in the leadership of the Oregon judiciary for many years, and was President of the Oregon Circuit Court Judges Association in 2001-2012. Before becoming a Circuit Court Judge in 1997, Judge Adler was a trial lawyer for 17 years, representing people and businesses in civil cases throughout Oregon. He was a leading trial lawyer, and was President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association in 1994-1995.
During his 22 years as a Circuit Court Judge, Judge Adler served as a mediator in hundreds of judicial settlement conference. He has a reputation as a very skillful mediator. Judge Adler has the ability to help parties resolve complex and often emotional disputes, and to reach a solution acceptable to all parties.
Judge Adler's 17 years as a trial lawyer and 22 years as a Circuit Court Judge offer unparalleled experience and insight. As a Circuit Court Judge, he handled many thousands of domestic relations, civil and criminal cases.
